PK’s March
For 31 years, my dad has been marching down the longest Main Street in America on St. Patrick’s Day. Each year we pick up a few new faces and sometimes some old faces join us again, old bars close and new ones open, but there are a few things that always stay the same - crappy bars, lots of A&B products, family, friends and smiling Irish eyes (see my parents below).
As my dad so eloquently puts it, “If you’re not having fun, it’s your own damn fault.” The march is something that I look forward to every year. This year was an absolute success, and I already can’t wait until March 17, 2012.
